The NordicTrack Elite 7000 treadmill is a heavy duty machine that comes with a impressive selection of features and functions. The machine is solid one and is perfect for walking and running and in the same time offers a very good sound system plus 20 built in workout programs that will offer a variety of challenges.

The Elite 700 Treadmill is equipped with a powerful but quietly DurX 2.5 CHP motor and an advanced cushioning system. We appreciate a lot the DuraSoft Advanced Adjustable Cushioning because it let us set the belt and get a street or beach feel.

Overall The NordicTrack Elite 7000 treadmill is powerful and solid training machine with a lot of training and entertainment features. The price is around 1300 $ but is definitely a good buy.

1. Speed: 0 to 12 mph with 1- Touch Speed system
NordicTrack Elite 7000 Treadmill has a speed range of 0 to 12 mpg and allows you instantly change the speed with 1mph increments.

2. Inclination
The Elite 7000 model comes with the 1-Touch™ Incline system witch allows you to instantly change the speed (with a single touch of a button). The inclination can be set between 0 and 12 degrees.

3. Motor.
This treadmill is powered by a powerful DurX 2.5 HP Commercial Drive Motor. The motor is a premium one and has a internal cooling system for longer life.

4. Treadbelt
The machine is equipped with a heavy duty, 2 ply belt which is more quietly than the normal belts. The belt size is 20″ per 60”.

5. Warranty
NordicTrack offers a lifetime warranty for the treadmill frame and motor .It also includes 5 years of parts and 1 year of labor coverage.

Conclusion for NordicTrack Elite 7000 Treadmill review

After we tested the machine we think that NordicTrack did a serious and good job with this treadmill. The NordicTrack Elite 7000 treadmill is robust machine that offers a variety of training workouts plus some entertainment features.

This treadmill has an iPod dock and an incredible sound system. Yes, the sound system is extraordinary and was a very pleasant surprise.

As a minus we note some incompatibilities between ifit cards and treadmill’s console and also the fact that it not offers a good calorie count. But these are not a deal breaker.

In the end – The NordicTrack Elite 7000 treadmill is probably not a good option for the ones that train for marathon but definably an excellent option for regular trainers.
