The Pacemaster Bronze Treadmill is a superb machine that fight for the crown of the under $2000 class. The unit comes with a powerful 3.0 CHP motor and a roomy belt that features an advanced cushioning system.

Pacemaster is one of the top treadmill producers and this model is a good example. There are no real week points for this machine and we think that you will be very satisfied if you buy it.

There are some complains about the machine weight and the fact that it doesn’t feel very sturdy. Is true that it has an aluminum frame which is a little lighter but if you test it you will see that is a comfortable & solid unit.

Pacemaster Bronze Treadmill Specifications

1. Speed 10mph
The Pacemaster Bronze treadmill has a top speed of 11 mph that can be adjusted with 0.1 mph increments via two standard controls.

2. Inclination 0-15%
This treadmill has an incline range between 0 and 15 degrees. The elevation mechanism has 1000 lb thrust and can be adjusted with 0.5 mph increments.

3. Motor
The Bronze model is equipped with a 3.0CHP motor produced by McMillan Motors.

4. Belt: 20”x54”
The deck features a generous walking space and a 2-ply Texglide stretch resistant belt.
The cushion system is a Tri-Flex Impact Shock Management one.

5. Warranty
Pacemaster offers a Lifetime warranty for frame, a 12 year one for the motor, 5 years for the parts and one year for labor.

This is the cushioning system that would provide a better joint protection and a higher comfort. The system is composed from 3 components: custom engineered tread deck, custom elastomer cushion and aluminum frame.

Four LED display windows
These 4 led displays will provide all the training information like Time, Speed, Distance, Incline, Calories and Aerobic Points

4 preset programs
The Bronze model comes with 4 preset programs that focus on Weight loss, Stamina, Intervals or Conditioning. For each of these programs there are 9 level of intensity.

The Pacemaster Bronze Treadmill can hold a maximum user weight of 350 lbs LB.

The Pacemaster Bronze model also features the following: Dual Microprocessor Digital Control System for motor control, Welded aircraft grade frame, 2.5″ precision rollers and Automatic Warm-Up/Cool-Down.

Conclusion for Pacemaster Bronze treadmill review

We were lucky this week. We’ve just tested a machine that can compete for the top place in under $2000 category. You cannot image the joy when we discover that we are going to play with a machine that is on the same level as Bodyguard T240 Treadmill.

The Pacemaster model comes with a 3.0 CHP motor produced by McMillan Motors. This motor powers a belt that has 54 inches in length and 20 inches wide.

Pacemaster proud themselves with this stretch resistant, 2 ply texglide belt that should resist at least 10 000 miles. As we can imagine we didn’t run 10000 miles just to test this but the whole assembly looks solid and prepared for a long run.

The cushioning system is a Tri-Flex Impact Shock Management one (a shorter name will be nice ).The technology works very well and is formed by a tread deck, a custom elastomer and the aluminum frame.

We liked the console design but we are disappointed because there are no Quik Speed and Incline controls. This is not a big thing but we think their presence will increase the usability of the machine.

There are no speakers or other entertainment features but who cares : the machine is too good as it is. If you want to listen music while training get an iPod Nano and you solved the problem.

The warranty is a very good one. You get 5 years for parts and 12 years for motor. More than enough.

As conclusion for Pacemaster Bronze : we never thought that will test in the same week 2 machines that compete for no 1 spot in under $2000 category , but we got lucky. The Pacemaster Bronze treadmill is a very good unit and we highly recommend it.
