At the first glance it seems that The Nordic Track C2155 treadmill is one of the best machine you can buy for under $850.It comes with spacious running zone and adjustable cushioning, pretty good preinstalled workouts, an iFit card slot and an iPod Dock.

The treadmill has also a pretty good sound system installed but don’t expect at something high end. Anyway for this lower price the sound quality is very good.

Some users complain that the CardioGrip™ Heart Rate Monitor is not very exact. We notice this also and this is definitely a serious minus. Another disadvantage is the fact that is pretty heavy and usually need 2 people in order to move it.

Overall the machine works very well is extremely quiet and is definitely one of the best solution if your budget under or around 800 usd.

NordicTrack C2155 Treadmill Specifications

1. Speed: 0-10 mph variable speed
The C2155 treadmill comes with a quick and accurate way to adjust the speed. The speed range is between 0 and 10 miles per hour (refine as low as 1/10 MPH)

2. Inclination
This treadmill uses the patent pending 1-Touch system which allows you adjust the incline with a single touch. The inclination can be set between 0 and 12 degrees.

3. Motor
The NordicTrack C2155 Treadmill is powered by a Motor: DurX™ 2.0 CHP Commercial Motor.

4. Treadbelt
The NordicTrack C2155 model is equipped with a Quiet 20″ x 55″ treadbelt. Nordicktrack also installed their DuraSoft III Adjustable Cushioning system which should reduce the impact on your joins with a value between 26% and 33% as compared to road running. There is also an adjustable absorption system which let you make custom settings.

5. Lifetime Motor Warranty
NordicTrack offer a lifetime frame and motor warranty for this model. Also the package includes one year parts and labor.

NordicTrack C2155 Treadmill Special features

The NordicTrack C2155 comes with 15 Personal workout programs that automatically adjust the speed and incline of the treadmill. These programs focus on aerobic, weight loss or performance workouts.

NordicTrack installed on their C2155 model an AutoBreeze Fan system that will help you cool down during training. The system is composed by two fans that have four level of adjustment.

The C2155 treadmill offer a fold away feature also known as SpaceSaver design. The treadmill can easily be folded and stored.

The C2155 console has a Grafixx Hi-Resolution Display where you can see your preferred workout information. Along with the usual training info like miles walked and calories burned the console will also display nice animations like your heart beat or an animated figure walking.

300-lbs. Weight Capacity: The C2155 model can accommodate weights up to 300 lbs.

The NordicTrack C2155 Treadmill has also these features : Training Zone Indicator, Interplay Universal iPod Dock, ifit Workout Card Technology and Club Design CardioGrip Heart Rate Monitor

A big minus for this machine is the montage: it takes around 90 minutes and you need to follow the directions very carefully. Otherwise you will have to go back to step1.

For 800$ you will get a good treadmill where you can run for good miles and not feel flimsy or cheap.

In conclusion the C2155 treadmill comes wit some nice feature but in the end is still economy equipment. This is indicated for the casual runners and not for the ones that train on daily basis. Also is not recommended for the heavier persons.

There are 2 big minuses of this machine – the heart monitor sensor which is completely off and the fact that is heavy and pretty hard to assemble. But even with this 2 things the treadmill is a very good machine and is a best buy solution for 90% of the home runners.
