Conclusion Horizon T900 Treadmill review

Before tell you the conclusions for this review here is how the producers and retailers plays with your money .This is also called marketing.

If you go to Horizon site you see this unit listed at $2199.When we saw this price we expected a super duper machine. We were ready to start testing this treadmill when we decided to look at dickssportinggoods.com – the only retailer for this machine.

And… Surprise. They had the machine listed at $1099($2199 was listed as the “old” price).Half the price listed by Horizon.

They try to trick us in thinking that we found a fantastic deal and we can buy a 2k machine for a half of her price. If the percent for the discount was lower we could fall for it but here is not the case…

So before to start the conclusion let’s get a thing clear. The value of the machine is really $1099. Is not $2199 and if they had the idea to list this treadmill with this price they didn’t sell a single unit.

Now- for the $1099 we have a good machine. The motor comes with 2.5 CHP, is powerful and comes with a lifetime warranty. Also, the noise level is a decent one.

The running area has 55 inches length, although we’ve expected a 60 inches one. Oh… wait this is not a $2199 machine. The cushioning system is a Variable 4-zone one that provides great comfort and superior protection.

The only thing that differentiate this machine between the others $1000 Horizon treadmills is the sound system and the iPod dock. The speakers are not the best you can find but can provide a decent sound and will do the job.

Nothing new in rest. There are 13 built in workouts that cover all training areas and that are monitored by the Etrack system. The warranty is not a very good one so go for the extended version if you decide to purchase this unit.

As a conclusion for the Horizon T900 Treadmill we say that beside the dumb marketing move by dickssportinggoods.com and horizon this is a good machine. For the $1099 price you will get a good folding treadmill that will satisfy light users.
