The Horizon CT 83 Treadmill comes with three blue backlit LCD screens that let you see more workout information and 16 nice built in workouts. The CT83 is a more advanced version than the previous CT81 model and has a bigger and better motor plus a longer belt.

The Horizon CT 83 treadmill is a solid machine with a heavy and stable frame and may create some problems when you want to assemble it or move it. Once you assemble the machine fold nicely because of the hydraulic lift assist.

The Horizon CT83 has a speed range of 0 to 12 mph and allows changing the speed with a single touch.

2. Inclination: 0-12%
This model has a incline range between 0 and 12 degrees. Same as speed the incline can be change with a single touch. The increment value is 0.5 %.

3. Motor
The CT83 model comes with a powerful and quiet 2.5 CHP motor.

4. Belt
The CT83’s belt has a COMFORTzone plus Air Cell variable cushioning system which offers a better protection and comfort. The belt size is 20 per 55 inches.

5. Warranty
CT83 Horizon treadmill has a lifetime warranty for frame and motor and a 1 year one for parts and labor.

This treadmill comes with 14 built in workouts. These programs cover the Interval workouts, weight loss workouts, 5k and 10k workouts. You can also create and save 2 custom training programs.

Mp3 & Speakers
This Horizon treadmill has 2 quality speakers and an mp3 input system. The console has also a headphone output.

Vortex fan
A fan that will keep you cool during training.

Conclusion Horizon CT83 Treadmill review

The Horizon CT 83 is a better version of the Horizon CT 81 and comes with a more powerful motor and bigger belt. This model has also more workout programs and a much nicer console.

The machine is a heavy one so you will probably need some help when you assemble it. However after is fully assemble it’s easy to fold and move around.

We like that Horizon though about the comfort of the runners and mounted an mp3&sound system plus that Vortex fan.

Overall it’s a good quality machine that gives you some space to move while working out and some nice features to entertain the boredom of running in place. The heavy runners should chose a machine with a more powerful motor .Anyway the Horizon CT83 Treadmill will fully satisfy any regular home user.
