The Proform 4.5 Trainer Treadmill comes with a powerful 2.75 HP motor that will please most of the walkers, joggers and casual runners. The belt is pretty spacious but it would be much nicer if they had gone for a longer belt.

The Proform 4.5 Trainer Treadmill comes also with a decent sound system and an IPod dock. It also has 8 built in workouts and a very nice Weight Loss Center. Overall we think that this treadmill has a good value for an economy class machine.

It would be nice if they extend the warranty for parts and if the incline system and maximum speed will be bigger. But in the end this is a economy treadmill and we think that it’s worth the money.

The ProForm 4.5 Trainer treadmill has a very nice console and a beautiful design. It comes with a good & powerful motor and with a very solid frame.

We especially liked the Custom Weight Loss center. This feature let you create a custom training program base in your personal details and goal.

We also appreciated the Interplay Universal iPod Dock system and the 2 speakers. Also we appreciated the life time warranty for the motor but in the same time we wished for a better warranty for the parts.

We can complain about the belt because it has only 55 inches on length. A 60 inch belt would add more value to this treadmill.

Overall the Proform 4.5 Trainer Treadmill is a good solid machine that will fit perfectly in your home gym. But this is still a economy treadmill and we don’t think will please a serious runner or a heavy trainer.

The ProForm 9.0 Competitor treadmill is one of the news Proform machine and maybe one of the best treadmill they built. This training machine comes with a good motor, a long & spacious belt and 20 training workouts.

The ProForm 9.0 Competitor treadmill comes also with the Competition Training Center that will let you race against virtual opponents. It is a very nice feature that adds more value to this treadmill.

Overall this is very good machine and is probably on of the best treadmill you can buy under 1000$.

We always love to find nice training features on the treadmills we review. This time Proform surprised us with the Competition Training center. You can race against some virtual competitors that will try to beat you before the finish line or while you are running on a hill.

Another good thing is the long belt (60 inches) that will let taller person train in proper conditions.

We also like the life warranty and we appreciate the fact that they give a 2 year warranty for parts and one year for the belt (Proform usually gives 90 days warrant for parts so this is big thing for them). That means they don’t expect any problems with the treadmill for at least 2-3 years which is a very good sign.

Also we think that this treadmill would be a much better machine if he will have a stronger motor. Right now it has a 2.5 CHP one which is a good enough for most of the users but will not work heavy runners.

Overall the ProForm 9.0 Competitor Treadmill is the best economy machine build by Proform and we highly recommended it.

First of all we have to be very clear: the Proform Crosswalk 300 treadmill is a budget treadmill and we say if it is a good or bad machine compared with other treadmills in this economy class.

This treadmill cost 400$ so is natural to have a lot of limitations. The motor is a 2.25 CHP one but for this money is the best you will get. A big minus is the relative small belt (18″ x 50″) that will constrain your movements,

This treadmill has one main advantage: The Crosswalk Arms. This function let you train the upper body while doing your regular cardio workouts. The console comes also with some workouts special designed for this feature.

Also another minus is the short warranty: if you buy this model get the extended warranty.

The Proform Crosswalk 300 treadmill is a solution for the persons that don’t want to spend a lot for a treadmill. If you are a runner or expect your treadmill to receive heavy usage avoid this model. If you like the Crosswalk feature you can go for Proform Crosswalk 500 one.

The 5.5 Crosstrainer don’t have any entertainment features like mp3 dock or speakers but we think this is the best you will get for 600$. This treadmill is not a foldable one and has a maximum incline of 10% but comes with a lot of other features that compensate and give value.

We also observed that the ProForm 5.5 Crosstrainer has a longer belt that the user model in the economy class and his mid size motor will handle the job in a decent matter. You may engage occasionally in running sessions at 10 mph but if this becomes a habit you will probably have to replace this treadmill with a better one.

What we like on this model is the variety of training workouts and the iFIT Challenge Training Center .Is nice to have so many workouts, a virtual coach and also a tool that will give you both diet and working programs.

We also appreciated the seamless speed & incline transition. You are at 10 mph per hour and want to switch to 5 mph. Just push the 5mph button. Same thing for the incline system. As a minus we can note the fact that the top speed and incline have low values (not a deal breaker but it will be nice to have a speed better than 10 mph)

The Proform 7.0 is a treadmill that has a good motor, a spacious belt and a lot of built in workout programs. But this is not a machine for heavy trainers and serious runners. The ones that want to jog or walk can use this machine for long term and with no problems. The others have to look for an expensive model.

The ProForm 11.5 Competitor is a treadmill that has a web price around 850$ and offer very good training conditions. The machine is definitely not a luxury item and the console does not have the best look. But this should not affect your judgment.

The 11.5 Competitor comes with a very powerful motor (which is much more important than console design) and with a fabulous Competition Training Center, a system that will bring the competition trill in your training sessions.

A minus for the ProForm 11.5 Competitor Treadmill is the fact that the console looks kind of cheap but considering the other features of the machine we think this is a decent compromise.
